Susheel Koul: Fitbit overtime, ‘wefie’ moments and my last takeaways from Davos

Susheel-KoulThis being my first time at Davos, I arrived not knowing exactly what to expect. It was an eye-opening experience – the security systems, evening parties, protocols, choosing sessions, cold weather management with temperatures of around -18 degrees Celsius at times … My Fitbit watch had to work overtime – clocking an average 15,000 steps a day. On top of that, my selfie library of well-known figures from business, politics and entertainment is something I will cherish for a long time.

People are extremely friendly and I realised throughout the week how strong and powerful our JLL brand is. It has been good hearing from fellow delegates from McKinsey, KPMG, PwC, BlackRock, and many others how highly they think of our company and our capabilities.

I have come back with an amazing array of thoughts, ideas and learnings as well as some exciting predictions that I am itching to share and deploy across the board. I’m very much looking forward to meeting with my clients in the coming weeks to tell them more.

Before I do so, I need to catch up on my sleep. Davos, you’ve been exhilarating.
